Daiso
Guam opened its first Daiso store, located in the Village of Donki, on Saturday, May 18, 2024, thanks to the efforts of the Daiso Mid-Pacific and GPX. Donovan Paulino, GPX general manager, was the master of ceremonies. Sandra Paulino, GPX president, and Jerry Paulino, GPX business development & sales, attended the ceremony and participated in the ribbon cutting to open the new store.
Daiso is Japan's first and largest 100 Yen shop. Today Daiso operates more than 5,000 stores, in more than 25 countries.
The chain store carries a wide variety of products from daily necessities to hobby items that enrich people's lives. Today Daiso offers more than 76,000 items and 90% of those items are developed in-house. Daiso introduces about 1,200 new items every month throughout its stores.
With the long-awaited opening of this store, Daiso looks to expand its presence in Guam and in our region and will continue to fulfill its responsibility as a global company that supports the lives of communities around the world.
